Interior Living Walls and Columns for Grosvenor Britain and Ireland

Designed and planted to create a beautiful aesthetic and boost air quality, these two living walls measure a total of 32m2. In addition, Scotscape's living wall system has been used to create abundant green columns right in the centre of staff offices, bringing the biophilic benefits of plants to Grosvenor's staff. Plants are essential for improving health and well-being in offices. The plant content of the living columns and living walls has been selected to offer maximum air quality benefits, acoustic benefit, while the introduction of nature strongly supports staff health.

Orchard Lisle Living Wall for Team London Bridge

This 76m2 living wall has been installed as part of a series of interventions that are part of the Borough High Street Low Emission Neighbourhood initiative led by Team London Bridge and Better Bankside, supported by the Mayor of London. Interventions are located to highlight calm and healthy walking routes in the busy London Bridge area and are complemented by initiatives to promote green business practices like reduced deliveries and clean vehicles.

Plexal City Interior Living Walls

Scotscape worked with Plexal and the building contractors Paragon to develop this unique living wall island structure. The living wall island houses an essential air ducting passage, offering a perfect solution to conceal building services and also doubles up this functionality as a display unit with a hd screen wall. Plexal sought a simple contemporary scheme that would act as an attractive focal point as well provide the busy enterprise space with a welcome boost of oxygen, hence the inclusion of multiple air cleaning plants such as spathiphyllum that are highly effective in trapping and absorbing pollutants in the air.

Royal Lancaster Hotel Living Wall

Scotscape has completed extensive landscaping works at ‘The Royal Lancaster Hotel’ As part of the hotel’s goals to create a more sustainable hospitality environment – the landscaping brings the positive benefits of plants to customers. The works included a fantastic living wall measuring 200m2 wrapping around the curved ramp which leads to the car park. The Scotscape living wall system is flexible thus lends itself perfectly to unusual surfaces. Smart irrigation and drainage systems have been integrated also. To finish off the Living Wall installation pro-fold sheet cladding has been used on the back of the wall.

The Rutherford Cancer Care centre Living Wall

Several factors influenced the design and plant choice for the 104m2 living wall at PPI, Newport. Initially the idea for the living wall was from Mike Moran, the CEO of Proton Partners International Ltd, in response to a personal family circumstance. His vision was to create a treatment centre that reflected the preservation and promotion of life. The design brief looked to build on this vision with biophilia and biodiversity at its core. Select species were chosen with their year round pollinating capabilities, air cleaning qualities as well as their function as a habitat for wildlife.
