Drying of Gypsol Anhydrite Screeds

This data sheet is a record of independent test data compiled by Action Dry Ltd which identifies and quantifies drying times, moisture test methods and other moisture related information on Gypsol Screeds. It shows that the drying time based on environmental conditions of 20 degrees C and 60% RH Gypsol screed at 50mm dries in 28 days and when force dried using underfloor heating dries in 13 days. Drying times are affected by site conditions, suitability of the site and depth of screed.

GYPSOL Classic Flowing Screed

This is the most commonly used of the GYPSOL Calcium Sulphate Floor Screed range. GYPSOL Classic is a general purpose flowing screed, using synthetic anhydrite harvested from the waste material of the chemical industry, and is for use in all interior non wearing floors whether heated or unheated, bonded, unbonded or floating and where no special strength or durability requirements are present.

Gypsol HTC Thermally Efficient Screed

Gypsol HTC is a high performance screed designed to be laid very thin over underfloor heating. It allows the installer to lay just 20mm cover to underfloor heating pipes whilst maintaining strength and durability. HTC offers low mass and high thermal conductivity making it the most responsive and thermally efficient screed in the Gypsol range especially when used in conjunction with high efficiency heating systems such as thermoplane

GYPSOL Modular Screed

GYPSOL Modular is designed specifically for use in Modular construction systems and where dovetail steel deck systems such as Lewis Decking are used. GYPSOL Modular screed uses GYPSOL anhydrite screed binder and is suitable for the encapsulation of an underfloor heating system, either electric or warm water. GYPSOL Modular is suitable for use in both residential and commercial including apartments, schools, prison units, hospitals and single dwellings where light weight and durable modular floors are required. GYPSOL Modular screed also improves the environmental and durability characteristics and gives a concrete feel to a light weight steel floor.

GYPSOL Summit High Rise Screed

GYPSOL Summit is designed as a technically superior Calcium Sulphate flowing screed which is specifically for use in high rise applications where the screed needs to be pumped to ten stories and above without the danger of segregation. The screed is suitable for the encapsulation of an underfloor heating system, either electric or warm water or for unheated applications. Summit is suitable for most construction types and can be used to improve the acoustic performance of the floor to meet or exceed Part E of the building regulations. Summit screed also improves the environmental and aspects in both residential and commercial projects and where required can be used characteristics and gives a concrete feel to a timber floor.

GYPSOL TimBRE Screed for Timber Floors

GYPSOL TimBRE screed is suitable for the encapsulation of an underfloor heating system, either electric or warm water. GYPSOL TimBRE is suited to both residential and commercial and will help to improve the acoustic performance of the floor to meet or exceed Part E of the building regulations. GYPSOL TimBRE screed also improves the environmental, fire resistance and durability characteristics and gives a concrete feel to a timber supported floor. GYPSOL TimBRE screed is designed to be used in conjunction with a compressible or an acoustic resilient insulation and an acoustician should be consulted to approve the design prior to installation where acoustic performance is required.

Gypsol TS-15 Ultra Thin Flowing Screed

Gypsol TS-15 offers an ultra thin screed suitable for bonded and un-bonded applications over a solid substrate. TS-15 can be laid to a minimum depth of just 15mm making it one of the thinnest ready mixed screeds available in the UK market.

Gypsol TS-20 Thin flowing screed for bonded and unbonded applications

GYPSOL TS-20 screed is a revolutionary new screed specially formulated to offer a strong and durable thin topping to a solid interior substrate, for example, in situ concrete or beam and block or precast concrete plank. It is designed to meet class A for impact resistance. Due to its thin depth, just 20mm minimum, TS-20 can be dried quickly allowing rapid return to service and application of finished floor coverings. Gypsol TS-20 is perfectly suited to flooring applications where height is extremely restricted and offers a lightweight cost effective alternative to smoothing compounds. It can be installed extremely quickly to at least 2000m2 per day. This represents a significant saving in time when compared to bagged, site mixed smoothing compounds and levelling screeds.

GYPSOL XS High Strength Flowing Screed

GYPSOL XS self compacting flowing screed is made to exacting standards by quality assured manufacturers to BS EN 13813:2002. It is a combination of high quality binder, specially selected sands, water and special additives where required. It is an enhanced strength mix design which offers a minimum CA-C35-F7. GYPSOL XS is suitable for the encapsulation of an underfloor heating system, either electric or warm water. GYPSOL XS is suitable for use in both residential and commercial including apartments, schools, prisons, hospitals and single dwellings where higher loadings and more durable screeded floors are required. In common with all GYPSOL calcium sulphate screeds, GYPSOL XS screed also improves the environmental characteristics of the floor.

Sureflo Bagged flowing screed

Sureflo is a bagged screed which incorporates high quality GYPSOL anhydrite binder with specially selected sand to produce a preblended mixture in 25kg bags. Simply add the requisite amount of water to produce a high quality flowing floor screed. Sureflo is perfect for small areas and for use in regions where flowing screeds are impossible to source due to readymix plant locations.
