Deeplas Twinson commercial decking has been specified for the new Boundary Rooms Suite at The PROBIZ County Ground, Hove, home of Sussex County Cricket Club. Wiltshire-based Specialist Structures chose Twinson decking principally because its natural timber appearance contrasted well with the anodised aluminium frames used on the doors and white architectural tensioned fabric roof. “We selected Twinson decking because its superior aesthetics complemented our design-lead SPACE building system,” said Keith Lewcock, Managing Director at Specialist Structures Ltd. “The decking creates a safe, low maintenance solution for the new suite, which has already received several positive comments from visitors.”

Kent Home Improvements has begun its 25th anniversary year in style with a customer open day. The all-day event was supported by a regional commercial team from Deeplas, along with other key suppliers. During the anniversary event, Deeplas carried out a series of product demonstrations that highlighted the many benefits of using Deeplas. Twinson® decking was specified by David Walker Architects for the balconies. Due to the scale and high specification of the building, these qualities were vital to ensure that the apartments retain their high-end aesthetics for many years. “It was fantastic to see Twinson® decking used on this project,” said Hazel Verschuere, Building Products Director at Deeplas. “The aesthetics of Twinson® decking were ideal for creating a high-end finish to the apartment balconies. A range of Deeplas roofline, cladding and trims have been specified on a large residential and retail development on Canvey Island, Essex. Stuart Newman, Director at New Look Homes, explained: “The developer liked the quality of the Deeplas range and the fact the white product has the back-up of a 20 year guarantee. Our installers also like fitting Deeplas products because the boards are much denser and sturdier.” Deeplas PVC-U products are extruded slowly, creating a denser, heavier board that retains its shape for the long term and forms neat, sharp 90 degree angles.
