The Risyalert switching module adds extra intelligence to the volt-free contact of a Risycor corrosion monitor. The module is already programmed with conditions and will forward the alarm of the corrosion monitor if there have been: - more than 7 alarms in 7 weeks, or; - if the alarm lasts longer than 7 days If this frequency or duration of a corrosion alarm is met, meaningful damage can occur in the heating or cooling system. Installing this module is recommended when there is no building management system or alternatively if alarm is only required when critical.
