Latvijas Finieris also manufacture other products, including traffic signs and furniture. Many EU states produce traffic signs, city maps and advertisement boards out of plywood. In Finland more than 50% of traffic signs are made of plywood. Installation is easy, fast and safe. Compared to metal construction plywood signs are 50% lighter. Installed traffic signs cannot be bent around their pole. Modern production technologies ensure traffic sign protection against rain, temperature fluctuations, and corrosion. Birch plywood furniture produced from Riga wood by the Troja mill is excellent quality and suitable for office, public and living room spaces.
