Fire Rated Bitumen Roof Membrane - Modibond

MINERAL MODIBOND ANTIFIRE is a polyester based torch-on cap sheet, coated with a special compound of distilled bitumen modified with polypropylene and equipped with a particular reinforcement of nonwoven polyester filament, stabilised with longitudinal glass fibre. The special compound, to which specific high technology fire retardant agents have been added, guarantees high flexibility at low temperatures, and excellent fire resistance. The underside of MINERAL MODIBOND ANTIFIRE is protected by Polyflam a special polyethylene film which melts upon torching. The top surface is protected with a uniform layer of slate mineral and has a lateral selvedge for overlapping making application fast and secure.
