Ensign EEZI-FIT: A Question of Time?

PAM conducted a time study comparing the EEZI-FIT push-fit system to BS EN 877 with HDPE using fusion welded joints and a stainless steel push-fit system. The study involved an experienced installer of all the materials who installed a 9m vertical stack representing 3 stories with the first floor in 150mm diameter. Each material was installed on separate days witnessed and time measured by the BRE. The EEZI-FIT range took 2 minutes longer than the stainless steel system but was 50% quicker to install than the HDPE system.
