Hush System Batten HD1010

Hush System Batten HD1010 is a proven acoustic solution for insulating concrete separating floors against sound transmission. By combining Hush Felt resilient layers, acoustic battens, and chipboard or plywood decking, it has been tested to significantly reduce airborne and impact noise while providing a strong and stable floor finish. Below the slab, the system uses a suspended ceiling with plasterboard lining to further improve acoustic isolation. It is suitable for use in new build, conversion or refurbishment developments that have concrete structures of approximately 300 kg/m3 mass per unit area. In addition, it is compliant with all UK Building Regulations relating to passage of sound: Approved Document E (England & Wales), Part G (Northern Ireland) and Section 5 (Scotland).
