FortaFire Test Report

Test report on a full 5m x 5m test conducted at the coveted UL Fire Testing facility in Germany. Compared with the BS.476 Part 20:22 test which is conducted on a lesser scale at 3m x 3m. The UL263 and the BS EN 1364-1 test undertaken at UL is a much more onerous test, and further proves the higher standard of fire and insulation capabilities of the FortaFire product, especially when the drop is 5 metres, which puts much more strain on the joints. FortaFire was highly successful in this test, achieving a full 120 minutes integrity and 90 minutes insulation to the BS EN 1364-1 and a full 120 minutes integrity and 58 minutes insulation to the UL263 test. NB - most fire barriers are tested to 3m drops then assessed for larger drops, FortaFire is actually fire tested for 5m drops!
