Traditional underfloor heating (UFH) system for use in a screed floor, using a clip & rail arrangement to hold the pipe in place on top of insulation.

Traditional underfloor heating (UFH) system for use in a screed floor. Typically for new builds or renovation where floor is excavated.
Pipe laid on insulation before screeding with either a traditional sand & cement screed or a liquid screed.
Kuvaus
Traditional underfloor heating (UFH) system for use in a screed floor.
The rails interlock to span the width of the room. They include an adhesive strip for securing to the insulation.
Rails are set 1000 mm apart from each other with the pipe clipping to the rail. A staple is used every 500 mm to further secure the pipe to the insulation. The rail allows the pipe to be positioned at 150 or 200 mm centres.

- 150 mm pipe centres: 79 W/m².
- 200 mm pipe centres: 70 W/m².
*Heat output at a flow water temperature of 45°, based on a tog rating of 1 with a room temperature of 21°. Consult manufacturer's literature for full details.
