Quantick Carborundum Stair Tread Inserts are a heavy duty anti-slip stair safety solution designed to provide long-term slip resistance and visual step edge delineation in demanding commercial, public and industrial environments.

Manufactured in the UK using Quantick's proprietary CarbiGrip anti-slip technology, these recessed stair tread inserts combine high-performance aluminium oxide aggregates with durable resin, permanently bonded into a rigid PVC carrier. The result is an exceptionally durable anti-slip insert capable of maintaining performance in high footfall environments where conventional surface coatings, tapes and gritted products often deteriorate over time.

Designed to be rebated directly into stair treads and risers, the inserts create a highly visible anti-slip leading edge without the need for a traditional aluminium stair nosing. This makes them particularly suitable for architectural projects where a cleaner aesthetic is required whilst maintaining stair safety and accessibility standards.
