Cold‑formed steel eaves strut designed for roof‑to‑wall junctions, providing load transfer, alignment and support for roof and wall panel fixing.
Suitable for use in metal building roof‑to‑wall transitions, supporting purlins, roof panels, and wall cladding in industrial, agricultural, commercial and pre‑engineered steel structures.
The eaves strut is a cold‑formed steel structural member positioned at the roof‑to‑wall junction to support the connection between purlins, roof panels and wall panels. The drawing ES‑01‑001 shows fixing positions, hole types (flat or counter-formed), required dimensions, and design references including upslope purlin distance, eaves depth and roof pitch. It is used as part of a secondary framing system to provide structural continuity, accurate alignment and dependable load transfer at the eaves.
