E-Bike Stand

The E-Bike Charging Stand is a British-made, specification-ready charging and parking solution designed for the growing proportion of electric bicycle users across commercial, residential, and public sector developments. Combining secure cycle parking with integrated dual-socket charging infrastructure in a single compact unit, it provides a practical, future-proof addition to any e-bike storage facility, whether installed as a standalone unit within an existing bike room or as part of a purpose-built e-bike charging facility from the outset.

Construction and Durability

The stand is manufactured from hot-dipped galvanised mild steel to BS EN ISO 1461:2009 standards, with a polyester powder-coated finish available in any RAL colour for aesthetic integration with the surrounding cycle facility or building interior. The galvanised construction ensures long-term corrosion resistance for both indoor and outdoor installation environments, and the robust steel frame is engineered to support the increased weight and dimensions of electric bicycles without compromising stability or usability. The stand comes with a 10-year manufacturing defects warranty and a 15-year rust guarantee.

Dual IP66-Rated Charging Sockets

Two IP66-rated weatherproof switched sockets provide simultaneous charging capability for two e-bikes, supporting a 230V AC power supply of up to 13 amps per socket. The IP66 rating ensures the sockets are fully protected against water ingress in both indoor and outdoor installations, making the stand appropriate for covered cycle compounds, open-air facilities, and any exposed environment where weatherproofing of electrical fittings is a requirement. Power supply can be fed discreetly beneath the stand or via rear entry, supporting clean, compliant cable management within the cycle store layout.

Secure Access Panel and Locking

The charging access panel is secured with a key cam lock as standard, preventing unauthorised use of the charging sockets and protecting the electrical infrastructure from tampering. An integrated locking bar provides a secure fixing point for users to lock their bicycle to the stand during charging, ensuring the e-bike remains secured throughout the charge cycle. A padlock-style cam lock configuration is also available as an alternative locking option to suit site-specific access management requirements.

Retrofit and New-Build Suitability

The compact footprint of the E-Bike Charging Stand makes it well-suited to retrofit installation within existing bike rooms and cycle stores where e-bike storage demand has grown since the original facility was designed. Subject to electrical feasibility and available circulation space, it can be integrated into existing layouts without requiring structural modification. For larger covered e-bike facilities, the stand is used within the E-Bike Charging Shelter, which accommodates up to ten e-bikes across five charging stands within a single shelter structure.

Integration with the E-Bike Range
