Composite Anti-Slip Stair Tread Inserts are manufactured from a durable rubber composite material and designed to provide a high-performance anti-slip surface within stair treads, landings and walking surfaces. Installed into pre-formed rebates, the inserts create a permanent slip-resistant delineation strip without the need for conventional surface-mounted stair nosings.

Suitable for both internal and external applications, the inserts are designed to improve pedestrian safety by enhancing grip and increasing visual definition to stair edges and changes in level. The grit-free surface delivers reliable slip resistance without the abrasive particle shedding commonly associated with traditional aggregate-based products, while remaining easy to clean and maintain.

Available in a range of widths, thicknesses, colours and bespoke lengths, the system can be specified to suit a variety of stair constructions including concrete, stone, terrazzo, timber, marble and ceramic substrates. The inserts can also be installed into curved rebates, allowing specification on bespoke staircases and architectural features.
