SonaSpray fc is a fire-rated, one-coat sound absorbing spray that delivers seamless, decorative sound absorption for a wide range of interior spaces. With a lightly textured, firm finish, it absorbs sound energy to reduce reverberation and enhance acoustic comfort.

Versatile application

Its versatile application can be spray-applied to almost any clean surface shape including barrel vaults, domes, corrugated decks, and pan construction. The sound absorber also bonds to common substrates such as plaster, wood, metal, and concrete.

Seamless acoustic solution

The seamless acoustic spray follows the lines of whatever is underneath, enabling designers to achieve curves and shapes. It can be installed quickly and economically compared with labour-intensive stick-on panel alternatives and is also suitable for application behind suspended mesh and timber ceilings.

Flange fittings:

90% of flangeless fittings do not work properly with any acoustic finish. If you are specifying a flangeless fitting, please contact Oscar Acoustics for advice.

Sound absorption:

Acoustic spray testing has been carried out as worst case, against concrete. Applying onto other substrates such as plasterboard with air gaps behind or profiled metal soffits, primarily increases absorption at low frequency which can increase absorption classes.

SonaSpray acoustic sprays can achieve any class as we can adjust acoustic performance by increasing and decreasing the material depth to suit the acoustic requirement and budget.

Recyclability:

SonaSpray is a permanently installed interior finish material that is designed for the useful life of a building project. At the end of its useful life, the material may be removed and repurposed into thermal cavity fill insulation or for other recycling applications.

Disposal in accordance with local recycling/disposal rules.

SonaSpray take back scheme:

From specification to installation, everything is kept in-house. We have created our own purpose-built training facility in our Oscar Innovation Centre HQ. The ‘SonaSpray Training Academy’ provides a controlled environment for our teams to build their skills with our Head of Quality Control.
