High Grab Linoleum Adhesive
STIR WELL BEFORE USE
Holding the trowel at an angle of 60°, spread the adhesive evenly over an area of subfloor that can be covered whilst the adhesive remains receptive and gives good transfer.
Following the floorcovering manufacturers laying instructions immediately place the floorcovering into the wet adhesive and press from the centre outwards to exclude any air; then roll from end-to-end and side-to-side using the 68 kg flooring roller. One to four hours later roll again in two directions.
STYCCOBOND F54 is a solvent-free acrylic adhesive, which is designed to give a high strong initial tack and high bond strengths and should be used for securing linoleum floorcoverings.
See the F. Ball Recommended Adhesives Guide for details of specific floorcoverings.
STYCCOBOND F54 can be applied to STOPGAP smoothing compounds, structurally sound, smooth, dry subfloors of concrete and sand/cement screed, calcium sulphate screeds, plywood, flooring grade chipboard and hardboard.
STOPGAP waterproof surface membranes, sound flooring grade asphalt and non-absorbent surfaces must be skimmed with a minimum of 3 mm of the appropriate STOPGAP smoothing compound.
STYCCOBOND F54 is suitable for use over normal underfloor heating installations.
For details on other subfloors, contact our Technical Service Department.
