Description

Twin 15 mm PROMATECT®-250 ceiling boards on 141 x 54 x 1.3 mm steel C‑joists at ≤600 mm centres, 38 mm P6 deck, steel cleats and M12 tie bars, achieving REI90 (loadbearing, integrity, insulation).

Ceiling: Two layers of 15 mm PROMATECT^®-250 boards fixed below the joists. No coverstrips or fillet strips required.

Note - system is also capable of providing fire resistance to structural members within the floor.

Guidance for specification option: All boards abutting surrounding structure should be sealed using FSi Promat Pyrocoustic® Fire Resistant Sealant. All penetrations should use supporting constructions detailed in Promat literature unless superseded by specific test information. For combined, warrantied performance specify FSi fire-stopping products.
