PhotonFoil-A1 - A1 Fire Rated Multifoil Insulation

PhotonFoil-A1 is an A1 non-combustible reflective multifoil insulation for use in insulated roof, wall and ceiling constructions.

Suitable for timber frame construction, pitched roofs, loft conversions, re-roofing and refurbishment projects where thermal performance, airtightness, vapour control and reaction to fire are important specification requirements.

PhotonFoil-A1 combines insulation, reflective low-emissivity surfaces and an air and vapour control function within a thin, flexible insulation product.

PhotonFoil-A1 is an A1 non-combustible reflective multifoil insulation designed to provide thermal insulation, vapour control and airtightness within roof, wall and ceiling constructions.

Classified A1 for reaction to fire to BS EN 13501-1, PhotonFoil-A1 combines a high-density glass mineral wool core with low-emissivity reflective aluminium outer layers.

The reflective surfaces reduce radiant heat transfer and can enhance the thermal performance of the construction when installed adjacent to appropriate airspaces. The product also provides an effective air and vapour control function when installed with sealed joints and penetrations.

Its flexible multifoil construction makes PhotonFoil-A1 particularly suitable for timber frame walls, pitched roofs, loft conversions, re-roofing and refurbishment applications.

Unlike conventional polyester-core multifoil insulation, PhotonFoil-A1 uses a glass mineral wool core and achieves the highest A1 reaction-to-fire classification.
