A window system suitable for all types of buildings.
For residential and commercial applications. Suitable for new build and refurbishment projects.
A window system which allows for construction of open out, side hung and top hung casements, open in tilt before turn, tilt only/ turn only and fixed lights. The 75 mm window system is designed generally to BS 4873, British standard for aluminium alloy windows.
Construction consists of outer frame and vent frames mitred and mechanically jointed using prepared extruded aluminium corner cleats or die cast mechanical corner cleats and die cast mechanical corner chevrons. Infills are secured by a combination of gaskets and internal or external beads to suit project requirements. Integral mullions and transoms are secured by driving screws into extruded screw ports. Structural coupling mullions are available to construct larger composite window units. Weather stripping is by purpose designed gaskets. Consult the manufacturer's product manual for limitations on frame and vent size and contact the technical department for details of the maximum spans and loadings applicable to the site conditions.
The system will accommodate a range of glazing thicknesses from 24 mm to 44 mm for double and triple glazed units or infill panels. Glass is dry set between TPE bespoke gaskets internally and externally.
