The FlipFix Circular Metal Access Panel is designed to provide discreet inspection and maintenance access to concealed building services within plasterboard and suspended ceiling systems. Suitable for residential, commercial and public sector buildings, the panel offers a practical solution for accessing mechanical, electrical and plumbing (MEP) services while maintaining a clean architectural appearance.

Manufactured from high-quality steel, the panel features a circular metal door with a 25 mm picture frame for a neat surface finish. The unique FlipFix fixing system enables rapid installation directly into plasterboard ceilings without the need for additional timber framing, reducing installation time and simplifying fitting. The removable door incorporates a twist-out mechanism, allowing quick and easy access for routine inspection and maintenance.

The panel is supplied without an integral lock as standard and is finished in a durable RAL 9010 (30% gloss) polyester powder coating, with alternative RAL colours available on request.

The FlipFix Circular Metal Access Panel is available in non-fire-rated versions or with up to 120 minutes fire resistance for ceiling applications (subject to size). Fire-rated models have been independently tested and certified by Warringtonfire to provide reliable fire protection while maintaining access to concealed services.

Installation

Designed for installation into plasterboard and suspended ceiling systems to provide access to concealed building services.

Prepare the ceiling opening in accordance with the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Install directly into the ceiling using the integrated FlipFix fixing system, eliminating the need for additional timber framing.
Ensure the panel is securely fixed before applying final decorative finishes where applicable.
For fire-rated models, install in accordance with the relevant fire test evidence and the manufacturer's guidance to maintain certified fire performance.
