Ascend System 2 - Site Assembled GRP Rooflight System

Filon triple skin site assembled rooflight solution for built-up profiled metal systems incorporating a flexible liner typically 17–20 mm deep. Class B non-fragile when installed with a minimum CE18 liner.

Typically used where there is no requirement for non-fragility of the liner alone.

• Complete range of GRP profiled rooflights to suit a wide range of applications.
• Standard GRP sheet range is a standard chopped strand glass matt reinforced polymer laminate.
• DR (double reinforced) GRP sheet range consists of a standard chopped strand glass matt and a stitch woven glass reinforcement layer.
• DR sheets are thinner and lighter laminates with strength characteristics of a heavier standard sheet, improving profile definition which aids sealing at side and end laps.
• Supasafe (triple reinforced) GRP sheet range consists of a standard chopped strand glass matt, a preformed chopped strand glass matt and a stitch woven glass reinforcement layer.
• Supasafe sheets have strength characteristics of a 0.7 mm profiled steel sheet.
• Can be supplied to match all current and most discontinued roof & wall profiles.
• Under normal atmospheric conditions the products life expectance is 30 years on standard and double reinforced products and 35 years on Supasafe E triple reinforced sheets.
• Non-fragile options available in accordance with ACR[M]001 testing.
• Includes unique light diffusing additives which scatter light passing through, to provide effective daylighting without hot spots or excessive glare.
• Meets relevant UK Building Regulations for fire safety when appropriate grade is selected. Tested to BS EN 13501 Part 5, BS 2782-0 Annex B Method 508A, and BS 476 Parts 3, 6, and 7.
• Tints available to order.
• All weather faces of external sheets include Filon Protect, highly durable UV protective layer which extends sheet life and reduces yellowing.
