Smithfield

OVERVIEW

This project forms part of Stoke-on-Trent City Council’s £200 million regeneration of the Smithfield site, creating a new mixed-use business quarter that reflects both the heritage and future of the city. The development takes its name from the original Smithfield bottle works, acknowledging the site’s industrial past while supporting its transformation into a modern commercial hub.

Finish Facades supplied bespoke punch art perforated panels, manufactured from 3mm aluminium and installed adjacent to the window openings across the façade. These panels were designed to introduce visual interest while maintaining consistency with the wider architectural scheme.

Manufactured in-house, the panels were produced to precise project requirements, ensuring accurate perforation patterns and a high-quality finish throughout. The use of solid aluminium provides long-term durability, low maintenance, and reliable performance within the external envelope.

The integration of perforated detailing adds depth to the façade while supporting the overall design intent of the development, contributing to a distinctive and contemporary building within Stoke-on-Trent’s evolving city centre.
