OVERVIEW
The stunning Kyoto Garden, located in London's Holland Park was opened in 1991. The garden was a gift from the city of Kyoto to commemorate the long friendship between Japan and Great Britain and in recognition of the 1992 Japan Festival which was held in London.
The authentic Japanese garden features traditional stone lanterns, a tranquil koi pond and a truly beautiful tiered waterfall. Of course, no Japanese garden would be truly complete without colourful Japanese maple trees and the garden has some impressive specimens.
If you are looking for a restful retreat from the noise and hubbub of the busy city, this is it!
