The Premium Vertical Bike Rack is a wall-mounted, space-efficient cycle storage solution engineered for high-specification commercial, residential, and public sector environments. Manufactured in Britain from heavy-duty 21.3mm CHS mild steel with laser-cut base plates and wheel supports, it delivers a clean, considered aesthetic alongside robust, long-term performance, making it a staple specification in premium end-of-trip facilities and high-quality cycle stores across the UK.

The rack stores bicycles vertically by supporting the front tyre on the wall-mounted hook, freeing up valuable floor space and allowing a significantly higher number of cycle spaces to be accommodated within a given room footprint compared to horizontal or floor-standing alternatives. It is available across three configurations to suit the range of site conditions encountered on commercial and residential projects.

The Premium Vertical Bike Rack (Wall-Mounted)

The wall-mounted configuration fixes directly to a structurally suitable wall surface, minimising the depth of the installation and making effective use of available wall space in narrow bike rooms, corridors, and compact cycle stores where traditional racks are impractical. It is commonly specified in a contrasting RAL colour to the wall against which it is fixed, creating a visually considered storage solution that reinforces brand identity or complements the interior design scheme of the wider facility.

The Premium Solo Vertical Bike Rack (Freestanding Post)

The Premium Solo Vertical Cycle Rack is the appropriate specification where a suitable structural wall is not available. The individual CHS upright post supports the rack independently, allowing flexible placement across open-plan spaces and rooms with complex layouts. Contrasting colours can be specified for the post and wheel bracket, and single-sided or back-to-back configurations are available to suit the available footprint.

The Premium Free Standing Vertical Bike Rack (Framework System)

The Premium Free Standing Vertical Bike Rack uses a modular SHS framework to create a self-supporting vertical storage system requiring no wall fixings. Staggered rack positions help optimise capacity and accessibility, making it well-suited to high-volume cycle stores and basement facilities where island layouts are preferred. Users can secure both wheels and the frame, providing a high level of individual theft protection.

Construction and Finish

All three variants are manufactured from galvanised mild steel to BS EN ISO 1461:2022 and finished with a polyester powder coat in any RAL colour and gloss level, providing both corrosion resistance and the finish flexibility required for high-specification architectural interiors. A minimum ceiling height of 2100mm is required, and standard spacing is 350mm centres with bespoke centres available down to 305mm. An optional secondary wheel guide improves usability and helps position the bicycle securely during loading. E-bike charging point compatibility is available on request. Please note: the Premium Vertical Bike Rack range is not suitable for bicycles fitted with front-wheel mudguards.
