Application

This Class A fire classified - EPDM alternative - interface sealing system is suitable for a wide range of applications including;

Typical uses:

Water and airtight seals around windows, doors and curtain walling systems;
Water and airtight seals from SFS sections to the concrete frame;
Many other applications where a robust Class A EPDM alternative is required.

OBEX CORTEX 0200FR should be installed with OBEX CORTEX 0210FR Class A2 Paste Adhesive in accordance with our installation guidelines.

Porous surfaces (e.g. Concrete, Cement Particle Board) should be primed using OBEX CORTEX 0787FR Non-Flammable Primer prior to the application of the membrane/adhesive.

Description

OBEX CORTEX 0200FR Class A2 Interface Sealing Membrane is the world’s first Class A fire-classified EPDM-alternative, used to create weather and airtight seals around openings such as windows, doors and SFS sections on construction projects.

This Interface Sealing Membrane has been approved by BBA, a third-party organization that ensures its quality and reliability. It achieves Class A2-s1,d0 – EN 13501-1 fire classification, ensuring compliance with Reg 7 when used on relevant buildings above 18 m.

Includes OBEX CORTEX 0210FR Class A2 Paste Adhesive which works seamlessly with OBEX CORTEX 0200FR Class A Interface Sealing Membrane, ensuring a robust, air and watertight seal between two substrates.
