The BFM404 and 408 multi-zone microphones are linked to the main control system and the fist microphone can be set for either monitored or unmonitored use during configuration. Complete with 'Common fault' LEDs, 'Speak now' and 'Zone status' indicators.

ViLX-ACR Assist Call Repeater

The Lexicomm ViLX-ACR provides remote indication of Assist Call alarms and provides an acknowledgment facility. It is ideal for mounting within a reception desk or on a wall due to its compact size and pleasing aesthetics.

It connects to the Lexicomm network via the nearest ViLX-EX8 System Expander panel via Cat 5 cable, plugging in to a dedicated port. It can be located up to 30m away and does not require a power supply and does not take a line output.

It has brushed stainless steel finish, 2.8” high contrast full colour touch screen display. Sized at 146mm x 86mm, it mounts onto 25mm deep standard double gang electrical box.

ViLX-ILB Type B Refuge Outstation c/w induction loop

The ViLX-ILB has been designed to meet the requirements for a type B outstation with an integral audio frequency induction loop (AFILS), the design has been optimised to produce the horizontal field as required by BS5839pt9:2011, overcoming the limitations traditionally associated with a wall mounted induction loop.


To aid location the unit has a high contrast design incorporating a highly visible Braille enhanced call button which flashes green in normal conditions, it flashes red when ringing and is solid red when a call is connected.

These are primarily used by the public in disabled refuge areas located in outdoor or wet locations, these should be provided on or near all protected stairwells to allow the orderly evacuation of people requiring assistance.


Refuges are not just for wheelchair users, but for all people who may slow the egress of evacuees, and typically refers to those who cannot walk 200m without stopping or aid.


The unit is supplied in a 200x200x80mm IP65 enclosure with a front label meeting the signage requirements of Building Regulations Approved Document B Volume 2.

ViLX-ACM-8 Assist Call Master Station

The Lexicomm ViLX-ACM-8 Master station can accept and display Emergency Assist Alarm calls either as a standalone system or on combined networks with EVC. The unit is compatible with (Type A fixed phones, Type B refuge hands free points, emergency assist alarm point or jack points in Far East and Middle East applications) as required.

The touch-screen layout has four buttons allowing quick access to the main functions, and permanently displaying the number of current calls, alarms and faults.

Emergency Assist Alarm calls can be acknowledged by pressing the Icon on screen(as required by BS8300) and will return to alarm if not reset within two minutes.

The ViLX-ACM has inbuilt networking allowing it to form one of the 64 panels on a Lexicomm network installation allowing a total of 512 outstations to be accommodated. Each panel can be a master station or ViLX-EX8 network expander.

Slave Router (BVRD2S)

Up to five slave units can be added to each BVRD2M master, enabling a maximum total of 68 inputs, 87 outputs and 30 messages. The slave units mount directly on top of the master unit and all connections are made to the BVRD2S using RJ45 connectors. The 'bypass all call enable' switch can be used to prevent an 'all call' message from being broadcast to the selected outputs.

Care 2 Disabled Refuge Remote Unit

Disabled Refuge remote for the CARE2 system. The unit is powered by the line which is a 2-core radial connection from the control panel.

Up to 500m distance is permitted between the panel and the outstation. Any combination of outstation units included in the CARE2 range can be fitted to a single panel. The unit features a call button and an output to feed an induction loop amplifier.

Fully BS5839-9 compliant. Object options include green or stainless steel finish units which can be selected as either surface mounting or flush mounting items.
