Preparatory coatings

Esha Primer is a quick drying black bitumen priming solution designed to penetrate and seal a variety of porous surfaces including masonry, concrete, cementitious screed/ renders, existing bituminous waterproofing and structural steelwork. Esha Primer creates a base seal and improves the adhesion of bituminous waterproofing solutions. Esha Primer is a mixture of high quality bitumen and hydrocarbon solvents.

Esha SA Primer is a solvent based cold applied bituminous primer for use with Esha SA roofing felts and Esha Universal SA on metal, concrete, stone or timber. Esha SA Primer is not usable for EPS or XPS foam and weakened PVC.

A solvent-free elastomer-bitumen solution designed to clean dusty surfaces and to penetrate and seal porous surfaces to provide a base for improved adhesion of bituminous waterproofing products.

Icopal SF Bitumen Primer can be applied to a range of substrates including brickwork, cementitious substrates, existing asphalt or bitumen membranes, metal and timber.

Drying time is approximately 2-4 hours, depending on the substrate and ambient weather conditions. The primer dries to a tack finish.
