Fire-Spec is a range of ex-steel mould finish high performance units, available in 60, 90 and 120 minutes, dependent upon the section width. Other concrete sections can be made with a fire resistance equal to or greater than our standard range and our technical team with their special knowledge of concrete can advise you on which sections would achieve a specific fire resistance and strength rating and offer a design solution should this not be detailed in our load span tables.

Fair Faced Fire-Spec range:

Fair Faced Fire-Spec lintels are also available in a class C fair faced finish and again with a 60, 90 and 120 minute fire rating.

Standards:

  • Design complies with BS 8110 table 4.3, section 2.
  • Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 845-2: 2003.
  • Materials comply with BS EN 206 and BS 8500. The pre-stressing wire complies with BS 5896.
  • All fire rated lintels produced by Naylor Lintels comply with BS 8110 table 4.3, section 2.

Steel Lintels (L-Strip)

A range of steel L-shaped angle lintels suitable for brick and stone to carry the external leaf. Available in galvanized (Pregalv G600) and stainless steel grade 1.4301 (304). Other specially designed steel lintels available upon request. Suitable for 90 and 130 mm wide walls.

Standards:

  • Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 845-2.
  • Manufactured from steel complying with BS EN 10025 with a minimum yield stress of 275 N/mm.
  • Zinc coating is galvanized to BS 2989z2.
  • Stainless steel L-Strip conforms to grade 304: S15: BS 1449-2.

Economy Lintels

Naylor Concrete Products Ltd

A cost effective, fully reversible unit for use in standard housing or a small load situation. All Economy lintels are suitable for use with L-Strip. An ex-steel mould finish and made from wet cast concrete. May see small air holes on the surface, aggregate and concrete fines to bottom arrises. For use normally in plastered situations. For exposed situations see Fair Faced range.

Standards:

  • Design complies with BS 8110-1 Section 4.
  • Manufactured in accordance with BS EN 845-2.
