Sureplan FPO Inverted Roofing System

Sureplan FPO is a thermoplastic heat weldable, reinforced waterproofing membrane for flat, curved and low pitched roofs. The membrane, which is free of PVC, is specifically formulated for long-term exposure without the use of either polymeric or liquid plasticizers.

Warm Ballasted System:

Sureplan FPO reinforced non-fleeceback membrane offers an ideal solution on very complex building shapes or where drilling and mechanical fasteners are inappropriate or impractical, and is fast to install.

Icopal Universal POCB Inverted Roofing System

BMI Icopal

Icopal Universal consists of a POCB (polyolefin copolymerisate binder) reinforced with glass fibre and polyester. The result is a strong, flexible, and extremely stable single layer roof covering that is UV resistant and tough.

Icopal Universal can be applied rapidly to insulation materials, timber, concrete or profiled metal roofs, or to existing bituminous roofing systems. The three variations of Icopal Universal meet a wide range of applications:

  • Icopal Universal - can be mechanically fixed, loose laid and ballasted.
  • Icopal Universal SA - self adhesive membrane making detailing easy and safe.
  • Icopal Universal WS - resistant to root penetration making it ideal for green roof applications.

Icopal Universal does not require open flame, making it extremely safe to apply. The thin fleece of polypropylene used to prevent rolls from sticking together also makes Icopal Universal easy to use.

Icopal Universal has an expected lifetime of up to 30 years, yet remains easy to remove and recycle at the end of its useful life. In addition, the thin design results in the minimal use of raw materials in manufacture and energy for transportation.

Fully Adhered System:

Icopal Universal POCB adhered system offers an ideal solution on very complex building shapes or where drilling and mechanical fasteners are inappropriate or impractical.

Total Torch Warm Deck Roofing System

BMI Icopal

Two or three layer system incorporating a range of SBS-modified elastomeric bitumen membranes with a high strength polyester carrier; vapour control layers, insulation and accessories.

Total Torch membranes incorporate a special striped pattern. This advanced vapour release technology has been specially designed to dissipate any moisture vapour that may be trapped in the roofing system. When this trapped moisture begins to warm up it can form pressure pockets within the system. The Total Torch Vapour Dispersion Layer and the Total Torch Vapour Control Layer have been specially engineered to neutralize this potential problem. Once the Total Torch Vapour Control layer has been bonded to the substrate, heat is applied to its specially designed stripes onto which the insulation is fixed. Only Thermazone Torch-on insulation is approved for use within the Total Torch system, as its superior facings and dimensionally stable insulant are ideal for this form of installation.

Mechanically Fastened System:

Sureplan FPO mechanically fastened roofing systems are fast and easy to install. Sureplan FPO sheets are mechanically fastened along their edge, and the adjoining sheet is overlapped and joined together with a minimum 40 mm wide hot air weld. Hot air welding provides the strongest and safest seaming method available in the industry today. The system is installed using automatic hot air devices that make sheet welding clean and consistent whilst also reducing strain on the roofing applicator.
