Suited for almost any application, the power supply unit/battery charger has been developed using the latest surface mount technology to provide a high efficiency switch mode power supply.

Intelligent Manual Call Point

The Intelligent Manual Call Point has been designed to operate on a loop of intelligent fire detection devices. An alarm is initiated by pressing the resettable element. The manual call point signals to the Control and Indicating Equipment using an interrupt feature within the Apollo Digital Protocol. An alarm status is indicated through the rotation of the resettable element, displaying yellow and black indication bars and a solid red LED. The manual call point can be easily reset from the front using the supplied reset key.

The protection from salt corrosion is provided by a tough, heavy-duty housing made from stainless steel material. It can rapidly detect all types of flames, including hydrogen which is invisible to the human eye.

Care 2 Control Panel

Control panel for the CARE2 EVC system. The panel is fitted with 4-way line card (expandable up to 16-way). Up to two control panels can be fitted per system or add Network Expansion Panels (NEP) for further system expansion. Each panel can be connected to up to 16 outstations).

Outstations are radial wired from the control and NEP panels using enhanced 2-core fire rated cable. Control panels and NEP panels on the system are cabled in a loop configuration using 2x2 core enhanced fire rated cable - max length of loop 5km.

The panel features an LCD screen and rotary encoder for control. The rugged red handset (with hearing aid compatible earpiece) is housed behind a lockable door. System configuration is stored on an SD card.

Batteries required for system backup are housed within the panel enclosure. Fully BS5839-9 compliant. Object options include black or stainless steel finish units which can be selected as either surface mounting or flush mounting items.
