WHITEFRIARS HOUSING ASSOCIATION CHOOSES REHAU'S FIRE RATED PVC-U SOLUTION
OVERVIEW
REHAU’s RAUFERNO fire rated PVC-U system won a screen replacement contract for Whitefriars Housing Association in Coventry, part of WM Housing Group.
The HA’s property services department wanted to replace single glazed timber screens in 13 blocks of maisonettes with a low maintenance, thermally efficient PVC-U alternative, but decided to increase the specification to include fire resistance, in order to maximise the safety of the residents. The REHAU RAUFERNO solution was the only fire-rated PVC-U product which met this specification.
