OVERVIEW

Hawkins Brown approached Planet for help with a Category-B fit-out of the Dean’s office and the design of offices and meeting rooms at the University of Westminster. For the meeting room frontages, Planet used p54 demountable glazing system with a narrow profile that meets the required acoustic performance at 45 dB Rw. Doors also required high acoustic performance – 40 dB Rw – so Planet provided its market-leading SonoTec acoustic glazed doors, incorporating a slim, sealed metal surround with double-glazed panels. Black steel door frameworks ensure a striking and seamless look between the partitioning and doors.
