Brief:

Part of a £20m development, the new building is used for a number of purposes: As the Business School, it is part of the University and is expected to bring an additional 2000 students to the University. It contains all the necessary educational facilities. There are teaching areas, both for large and small groups, with quiet areas which are conducive to solo study, a number of leisure and relaxation areas, administration offices, as well as a spacious cafeteria.

The aim of the school is to inspire students to be active participants in business, rather than observers, by providing a shared space for academics, students and enterprise, where everyone can learn from everybody else.
