OVERVIEW

Installer: Surrey No1 Handyman

Location: Surrey

Products used: Trex Transcend®, Trex Pro Plug®, Trex® Deck Tape

The design of this striking deck acts as the base for the homeowner’s investment into their outdoor space, which is set to include a veranda.

The inspiration:

Surrey No1 Handyman was tasked with creating an attractive decking space to complement the eventual installation of a veranda, making the deck useable in all weathers.

The detail:

Thanks to its unique shell technology which offers protection from the elements, Trex composite decking is the ideal choice for anyone who wants to enjoy their outdoor space year-round – making it the perfect base for additions like verandas.

For this project in Surrey, Trex Transcend® composite decking boards were used in contrasting colours Tiki Torch and Spiced Rum to create a striking effect, which includes an eye-catching centre-piece design.

The deck’s unique shape will perfectly complement the finishing touches for the transformation of the outdoor space. Despite this unusual shape, the deck is perfectly square thanks to Surrey No1 Handyman’s exceptional attention to detail and skill.

The full effect:

Surrey No1 handyman’s creativity resulted in not only an eye-catching deck, but one that also maximises the space available and acts as the perfect base for the homeowner’s vision for their outdoor living area.
