The Francis Crick Institute

OVERVIEW

Working with the project architects, our technical team helped to develop the door specification for this state of the art 86,000sqm medical research facility. Dortek designed and installed more than 500 bespoke hygienic doors and automation systems throughout the facility. Our doors were essential for providing protection across hazardous fire areas. Our void free doors are also hygienic, easy to clean, non absorbent and do not harbour bacteria. This makes them ideally suited to research laboratories such as this which are sensitive to contamination.
