Terrix® Algae Repair and Crack Restoration Systems
Wales & West housing association had a problem with a large number of their properties in South West Wales. There is a unique algae, which only occurs in the Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion areas.
We sent samples of the algae to the Terrix laboratory’s to ensure our algae killer could destroy the algae. Once this was assured the process was very simple. Algae killer is applied to the wall using a spray pump. This is left for 24 hours then washed off using a jet wash. Primer then applied with a paint roller and left for 24 hours to dry and cure. Terrix Polymer-Silicate top-coat paint spray applied as the finishing coat, giving fantastic protection against any algae growth and colour discoloration.
The example shown is 6 years after treatment and will stay looking good long into the future.
