Thanks to our long-standing relationship with Berkeley Homes, TRC was appointed to undertake a three-year project of refurbishment work to 150 centre pivot sash windows, plus doors.
We stripped the existing painted windows and repaired the decayed timber. Due to the listed status, we sought to retain and repair as much of the original timber as possible. Where replacement joinery was necessary, we were able to source matching air-dried Douglas Fir (as stipulated by the conservation officer), which had been reclaimed from another heritage project.
