Plymouth Lighthouse Laboratory

OVERVIEW

The Lighthouse Lab in Plymouth was a £20 million regional testing lab that was converted by Kier Construction in conjunction with Ward Williams Associates and Stride Treglown. The building was converted and renovated in a record time to help in the effort towards fighting Covid 19. From Design to Installation, the project took under just 3 months to complete, making it one of the fastest turnaround projects we have ever completed. Workspace were involved in providing the lab FF&E comprising of lab benching, reception desk, social distancing screens, lockers, hygienic cabinetry and many other items. We worked closely with the design team at Kier Construction to use innovation to come up with the best solution for the needs of the lab. The modular mobile benching we installed at the lab was uniquely designed to allow for greater flexibility and repurposing.
