Passenger Lift with Shallow Pit - Grand Theatre, Leeds

OVERVIEW

Our installation of a Machinery Directive compliant passenger lift, within the Grand Theatre, Leeds and is a great example of how our range of Passenger Lifts for Problem Sites are the perfect solution for your Shallow Pit and Low Headroom requirements.

Originally opened in November 1878, Leeds Grand Theatre cost of £62,000. It was designed during a backlash against the so-called “common” music halls and without modern disabled access in mind.

A multi-million pound refurbishment package covering disabled access and facilities has resulted in substantial improvements for it’s patrons.
