Ports in Newport, Swansea and Cardiff required redevelopment work to bring their electrical infrastructure up to date with modern quality standards. Due to the original connection points being built in the 1960s, the years had not been kind to the structure and electrical condition of the boxes. IDE were pivotal in upgrading the existing electrical infrastructure to allow for cranes to connect safely and efficiently to a reliable mains power supply.
