New build home with a modern twist in conservation area
OVERVIEW
Appearances are deceptive for this modern three bedroom dwelling, situated between two listed buildings in a conservation area.
The new build had to visually appear as single storey from street level due to planning conditions, which was been achieved with an innovative design, creating the illusion of a one-storey structure.
Reclamation Yellow Stock handmade bricks were the natural choice for the boundary walls which had to be repaired and extended, with part of the dwelling set into it.
