Maggie's Centre

OVERVIEW

The Maggie's Centre in Cardiff, Wales was designed by Dow Jones Architects. The building was inspired by the shape of the local mountains, and you can also find elements of welsh architecture within the building, such as the cwtch. The cwtch is a room lit space inspired by the simnau fawr, which means big chimneys. The building has a strong bond to nature, and the beautiful courtyard is an exceptional space for relaxation and comfort.

Throughout the building, d line products from the Knud Holscher collection was used on the doors. Director of Dow Jones Architects, Alun Jones, said "We chose d line because we like the timeless design and the quality of the solid stainless steel ironmongery. The coupe handle is nice and compact and feels good in the hand".
