The multi-award-winning Llanegfedd Visitor Centre for Welsh Water is in Pontypool, South Wales, and was designed by Hall + Bednarczyk Architects. The architect’s design required large glazed areas and minimal sightlines to make the most of the panoramic views over the water from the centre’s restaurant and viewing gallery. Already familiar with Fineline systems, the architect chose Fineline’s sliding and fixed panels as the preferred design option. Clerestory glazing above the sliding panels were chosen to interface neatly with the unique gull-wing roof.
