LAW AND ORDER - Birmingham Coroners Court

OVERVIEW

Securefast Be-Tech Virtual Network Locksets have been fitted on the £1.03 million refurbishment project to upgrade Birmingham Coroners Court in Steelhouse Lane and merge the Youth Court which is next door which had six court rooms over four floors. The new development now has three court rooms for inquests as against the previous building that only had one and office space for training and meetings.

The Be-Tech Virtual Network Locksets were supplied for eighteen doors within the building to control who has access into non-public areas.

The ASL951B ONDOOR Virtual Network Locksets use Mifare cards which can be programmed using the ASL960 Card Issuing Writer / Reader and using Windows based software. The system allows for time zones and user groups to be set up and allows audit trails to identify who, when and where entry has been granted or denied if necessary.
