At the new £11.2 million integrated policing facility at Kittybrewster in Aberdeen, Balfour Beatty required a high performance roofing system for the 4,518m2 building. As on-going partner of the main contractor, BriggsAmasco was appointed to deliver a highly skilled and efficient application including waterproofing, sedum mats and 60 rooflights.
With the project aiming for a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’, a complex roof system comprising green roof, waterproofing and rooflights was specified. BriggsAmasco carried out the full installation, incorporating the versatile, cost-effective and lightweight Bauder green roof system.
