When Hertfordshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust commissioned Medicinq to design and build an 86 bed acute mental health inpatient unit on the site of the old Harperbury facility in Radlett, Britplas were the obvious fenestration partner for the project.
The facility, which includes one vulnerable adult ward, one learning disability ward and three acute wards, required fenestration solutions to assist with the therapeutic environment, provide anti-ligature features, enhanced security to all areas without aesthetic distractions, and allow for optimum ‘safe’ natural ventilation.
Our product solutions included a combination of uPVC and aluminium Safevent windows as well as glazed doors.
