Hounslow Civic Centre Refurbishment

OVERVIEW

Accordial were called upon to provide 15 sets of high sound absorption-rated movable walls in a variety of finishes to provide the council with customisable, flexible meeting space in the Hounslow Civic Centre refurbishment, completed in early 2019. Working with Sheppard Robson architects and Bouygues UK, Accordial supplied and installed seven sets of Semi-Automated, Class O, 57dbRw PremierWall movable walls, measuring 3.6m in height with an attractive Stained Grey Ash Veneered finish for flexible, multi-use function rooms on the sixth floor of the Hounslow Civic Centre.

Additionally, Accordial provided and installed eight sets of manually-operated PremierWall movable walls in a variety of finishes for meetings rooms on the other floors of this seven-storey new build. Accordial provided a tour of their factory in Loughborough to a client team more than 15 strong from Hounslow Council, Sheppard Robson and Bouygues UK, giving them a close insight into the assembly and production of the movable walls. Accordial being part of the Ash & Lacy Group assured the client team that Accordial stood more than ready to finance this sizable, complex scheme.
