As part of a major refurbishment project, Hornsea School and Language College had aluminium rainwater and eaves system installed. Built in the 1950’s, the College in Eastgate, Hornsea was in need of extensive external refurbishment in order to bring the school up to modern thermal efficiency standards, address building defects and improve its aesthetics. Initiated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council Infrastructure and Facilities and overseen by Hall Construction, the eight-month refurbishment project included the replacement of rainwater and eaves systems along its flat roofline that are guaranteed to last the entire 40 year estimated life span of the building.
