Handsmooth House

OVERVIEW

Handsmooth House is a characteristically bright white house perched on a hill overlooking the Oxfordshire countryside. Initiated in 2007, the 837-square-metre house and its 141-square-metre guest lodgings took a decade to complete. Handsmooth House, a reinvention of the country house, became the winner of the RIBA South East award and RIBA Regional Sustainability awards.
