OVERVIEW

The trendy Wombats youth hostel sits on the edge of the City of London, offering a contemporary space in an up-and-coming part of London. The refurbishment, designed by London-based architectural practice Mulroy Architects, has bought new life to the space, which was once 19th Century Seaman’s Mission. Hafele Dialock system was supplied for guest rooms for access control. • Second place in the Hospitality category in the RIBA GAI Specification awards 2017 Shortlisted in the 'Hotels' category for the AJ Retrofit Awards 2015 • Commended in the 'Hotels and Hospitality' category for the New London Architecture Awards 2015
